Do you live near Carnegie, Pennsylvania and like to try new food? Why not give the 6th Annual Ukrainian Food Festival a shot? This celebration, held at the Parish of Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, invites local residents to partake in exploring the roots of their culture by joining in a feast steeped in Ukrainian heritage. We at Shults Ford Harmarville love to see members of the local community band together to celebrate their diversity.
Come on September 8th and 9th, when the food-based festivities begin at 11:00 AM. The parish has its own kitchen with which the cooks produce traditional Ukrainian food and pastries for the public to enjoy and take home, free of charge. Saturday will even offer guests live ethnic entertainment for their viewing pleasure. Additionally, guests can relax and lounge outside or come into the air-conditioned parish hall, which is also wheelchair-accessible.
Again, admission is totally free, so bring your friends and family to enjoy this spectacular once-a-year event where you and your loved ones can explore new experiences at the Ukrainian Food Festival. Be a part of your community by immersing yourself in the diversity and proud heritage that still exists in Pennsylvania today.
