The production schedule for the 2015 Ford Edge is on its way, bringing 400 new jobs to the Ford Oakville Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada along with it. This is a huge venture for Ford, who will be distributed the car all over the world.
The 2015 Edge has more than a few upgrades from its predecessor, including a 180-degree front camera, park-assistance, side park sensors, and even adaptive steering, which adjusts the steering wheel based on speed and other factors.
Each standard model will be powered by Ford’s twin-scroll turbo 2-liter Ecoboost engine, a new product from Ford. Additionally, a Sport version of the Edge will have a 2.7-liter V6 Ecoboost engine.
All three trim levels for the 2015 Edge – SE, SEL, and Titanium – will be available in the next year, after the 2015 Ford Edge production has been in full-swing for some time.
