Tips for Memorial Day Camping with Your Ford F-150

Memorial Day weekend is just around the corner, which means it’s time to get ready for your big camping trip to celebrate. If you’re stuck on how to prepare your Ford F-150 for this weekend of fun, then make sure you follow our tips for Memorial Day camping.

Reserve your campsite. Whether you’re heading to a campground or will be hauling your trusty travel trailer to an RV site, make sure you reserve your spot well in advance. Also, print out your reservation information so you have it on hand in a hard copy, just in case.

Get your F-150 ready. Make sure your pickup truck is ready for the trip by putting it through its routine maintenance. Check its fluid levels, lights, tire pressure, and battery to make sure all of it is ready to head out on the open road.

Plan your menu. One of the best parts of camping is cooking over an open fire – or in your travel trailer’s tidy little kitchen. Make sure you think about what you want to eat each day and pack accordingly. Consider supplies like s’mores, hot dogs, burgers, and breakfast burritos.

Pack your supplies. It’s time to use your F-150’s truck bed for what it’s made to do. Get your supplies ready and packed so you can head out on the open road with ease. Make sure everything’s secure in the bed of your truck and weather proof it, if you think the weather might take a turn for the worse.

2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt Price Tag Announced

When Ford announced the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt, the entire industry couldn’t wait to see what this pony car would offer in terms of performance – or how much it would cost. Now, we know what the Mustang Bullitt’s price tag will be when it hits showrooms this summer – and it’s surprisingly reasonable.

To get your hands on this future classic, you will have to shell out $47,495, which includes the $900 destination and delivery charge.

“The new Bullitt will be every bit as cool and charismatic as the original ’68 Mustang,” said Corey Holter, Ford car group marketing manager. “Since its introduction earlier this year, Ford dealers have been fielding calls from customers wanting to know when they can order this unique piece of automotive history.”

Along with the Mustang Bullitt’s price tag, Ford has also announced its final performance numbers. It looks like this iconic pony car will be pumping out 480 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque with 93-octane fuel. This power will allow the Bullitt to hit a top speed of 163 miles per hour. That’s 8 mph faster than the 2018 Mustang GT.

There’s no word yet on how many of these limited-edition Mustangs will hit the showroom, but due to the triple-digit VIN of the first production model that was recently sold at auction, it’s likely that there won’t be many. Don’t miss out on this chance to own a piece of automotive history. Stop by Shults Ford Harmarville for more information about the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt.
