2015 Ford F-150 Pricing Announced!
The highly-anticipated 2015 Ford F-150 has just had its pricing announced and will begin going on sale later this year. Despite a new, weight-saving aluminum body, the 2015 F-150 will only add a small amount to the pickup’s total cost.
The XL and XLT entry level models start at $26,615 and $31,890, respectively, which is only a $395 increase over the heavier, current-gen 2014 truck. Even the upgrade to a Lariat model is negligibly more expensive—it starts at $39,880, which is only $895 more than last year.
As expected, however, the top-end models do cost a little extra compared to the 2014 truck. The leather-rich King Ranch will cost $49,460, up $3,515, and the Platinum trim will cost $52,155, up $3,055.
That being said, there’s more than just 700 pounds of weight-saving to justify the cost increases. All standard equipment has been heightened across all models. Given that the entry-level XL and XLT account for about 70 percent of all F-150 sales and have less than a $400 increase, that’s not a bad deal at all.
